ENEMY SHIPS HIT
VESSELS SET ON FIRE
(Received Sept. 27, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 26 Photographs show the securing of torpedo hit.; on a medium-sized merchant ship in the course of) an attack on enemy shipping off the Dutch coast yesterday by Beaufightfcrs of the Coastal Command, which also scored a hit on a smaller merchantman. In addition three escort vessels were set on fire by cannon shells. When last seen the mediumsized vessel was down by the stern.
