HAMILTON CAMPAIGN

ADDRESS TO WOMEN A large and enthusiastic meeting of women was addressed yesterday afternoon by Mr Frank Findlay in Knox Hall, Hamilton East, at which Mrs Findlay was also present. After being introduced by the chairwoman, Mrs K. Trembath, Mr Findlay in an excellent speech criticised the present cost of living, the inadequacy of the Government housing scheme and the numerous restrictions and monopolies in trade, the points of which arrested the attention of the many housewives present. He then spoke of rehabilitation and the general policy of the National Party, and answered numerous questions to the satisfaction of his audience. The concluded with a vote of thanks and confidence in Mr Findlay carried with prolonged applause.
