PLANE CRASHES
THREE AIRMEN KILLED NORTH ISLAND ACCIDENT '(By Telcßrap.il—press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday Three occupants of a Royal New Zealand Air Force machine lost their lives when the aeroplane crashed after taking off from a North Island air station shortly after five o’clock yesterday afternoon. Those killed were: Squadron-Leader W. ML C. Williams, D.F.C., whose wife resides in Feilding. Leading - Aircraftman H. J. Beale, whose wife is Mrs B. E. Beale, of Mount Eden, Auckland. Actinr - Corporal W. N. Gibbons, whose father is Mr W. W. Gibbons, of Parnell, Auckland. Squadron-Leader Williams is a son of the Rev. Canon W. G. Williams, of Napier.
