CUSTOMARY OBSERVANCE (By Telegraph—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Tuesday In a joint statement issued today the Minister of Supply and Munitions. the Hon. D. G. Sullivan, and the Minister of Labour, the Hon. P. C. Webb, announced that the War Cabinet had decided that, subject to the war situation and the war requirements during that time, the holiday period of Good Friday, April 23, Saturday, April 24, and Easter Monday, April 26, will be observed as usual. Where workers are called upon to work they should be paid the appropriate rates.
