VESSEL HELD UP
(By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday A small vessel with 1000 tons of cargo has been held up at Lyttelton for several days. The crew decided that the donkeyman should be accommodated in the officers’ quarters. The officers objected to having a member of the crew in their quar- • ters at the dictation of the crew. The men argued that there was insuffi- ' dent room in their quarters and a j deadlock resulted. The vessel, which was overhauled at Lyttelton, is held up indefinitely.
