PUBLIC OPINION
CURRENT VIEWPOINTS MORE DETAIL WANTED (To the Editor) Sir, —Perhaps your correspondent. Mr Marcus St. B. James, will make his recent questions more explicit. (1) In inquiring for the “sponsors” and “source” of Federal Union, does he mean its present central committee. or the persons xvho first thought of it? (2) Will he please enumerate “the international financial houses” he has in mind, \x 7 ii;h sufficient addresses to ax'oid any possible confusion? (3) To set out the “conditions” in federal and other States xvould in-x'olx-e copying out the world's year books, etc. Could specific items be given? (4) There may be a doubt xvhether any strictly “international” wars remain for Federal Union to deal xvith. There seems noxv to be a semiracial, semi-ideological basis. Is the question intended to include this? (5) It is desirable to have the source of his assumption that Federal Union xvould be limited to the United Nations.—l am, etc., F. J. MOORE. President Federal Union (N.Z.) Inc. Hamilton Branch.
