NO LEVY BOOK
FAILURE TO REGISTER (By Telegraph.—l’ress Association) AUCKLAND, Saturday The issue of ration books in Auckland has brought to light the fact that tnere have been some dilatory people who have failed in their obligation to register under the Social Security Regulations and have in their possession a levy book. Present indications are that a number of such in continuous employment have fulfilled 'the statutory requirement and employers also have kept a keen eye on the matter. There is, however, the casual type of man who flits from one job to another and some of this type have failed in their duty. The dilatory ones have been asked to rectify their position immediately, pay up all arrears, and come back with a levy book. At the same time they run the risk of statutory penalties. Apparently seme people thought that if they were exempted from social security payments they did not require a levy book, but such is not the case.
