April 19 With the return of fine weather the German air force renewed its attacks on Malta and yesterday I morning a number of German bomb- |* ers attacked an aerodrome. Enemy I lighter patrols were active all the | morning. Two hours after the first attack \ four waves of German bombers j bombed the aerodrome and harbour. I They were engaged by heavy and | light anti-aircraft defences, which | also engaged later raiders. One JUBB was destroyed as well as one JUB7 prrJhably destroyed.
