ATTACKS ON MALTA

April 19 With the return of fine weather the German air force renewed its attacks on Malta and yesterday I morning a number of German bomb- |* ers attacked an aerodrome. Enemy I lighter patrols were active all the | morning. Two hours after the first attack \ four waves of German bombers j bombed the aerodrome and harbour. I They were engaged by heavy and | light anti-aircraft defences, which | also engaged later raiders. One JUBB was destroyed as well as one JUB7 prrJhably destroyed. There was some civilian damage and casualties. Another raid was in progress at the tirrn q, r message w,v -ent.
