ANOTHER FIRE REPORTED j (United Presa -vssn.—Eict. Te 4. CoDyrlgnt) I NEW YORK, April 18 [ Another fire occurred today aboard j the Normandie. The blaze was dis- i covered in the after hold. A fire boat and fire engines arriving on the scene called for a rescue : squad, which cut away the plates and J enabled the firemen to reach the , seat of the fire, which was brought under control after four hours. I A preliminary police investigation j indicated that a salvage workman’s ! acetylene torch started the fire. The original disaster on February 9 was caused in the same manner. A small blaze broke out aboard the ship j three weeks ago. but was quickly i extinguished. 1
