LOWER CAMBRIDGE INCREASE (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Friday The Electricity Controller advised the Cambridge Electric Power Board that the allocation of increase in supply had been reduced from 10 per cent to 7 per cent. The chairman, Mr M. Wells, said that despite the reduction the board would be able to undertake all reasonable work. The engineer, Mr H. C. Oaten, reported that stocks of poles would provide for all essential work. The board unanimously decided to donate £SO to the funds of the Cambridge Home Guard Battalion. After discussion on the unsuccessful appeal for a key man on the outside staff the board decided \o approach the Manpower Committee again and also to communicate with the board’s solicitors.
