COMING RUGBY SEASON
MARIBT BROTHERS CLUB MEETS .Mr P. A. Clarkin, president or the club, presided at the annual meeting or the Marist Brothers Football club. The Rev. Father Bleakley was reelected patron and other officers elected were:—President, Mr Clarkin,.. vicepresidents, Messrs J. Cleary, G. S. Frost J. P. Flynn, G. Geary, j. Reynolds, p! Roach, T. B. Roach, G. Rundle, E. Jones G. Barnett, L. A. Fitzgerald; secretary. Mr J. M. Mills. . “Owing to the Tact that most players over is years or age are being called to the colours, it is reared that the conditions under which football will he plaved during the approaching season will ”be even more trying than last year,” said Mr Clarkin in his report. The club will put only a third and a fourth grade team in the competition this season. Mr A. Jones was elected as delegate for the junior advisory board or -the Hamilton Rugby Union. The executive committee elected was the Rev. Brother Gerald, Mrs A. Jones, and Messrs u Whiting, P. Tutchen and R. Roach.
