THREE SUBMARINES SUNK AMERICAN NAVAL ATTACKS WASHINGTON. Feb. 25 Colonel Frank Knox. Secretary to the United States Navy., announced today that, the United Slates Navy had sunk three enemy submarines and damaged four others during January and February. In that time 56 attacks were made against submarines.
