OBITUARY
SIR JEREMIAH COLMAN The death is announced from England of Sir Jeremiah Colman, chairman of J. and J. Colman, Limited, at the age of 82 years. Sir Jeremiah Colman was one of H.M. Lieutenants for the City of London, president of the Surrey County Cricket Club from 1916-1923, a vice-president of the Boy Scouts’ Association, vice-presi-dent of the Y.M.C.A., and Knight of Grace of the Ancient Order of St John of Jerusalem, while in 1904 he built and presented the Colman Institute, Redhill, and in 1930 presented the building for the Surrey Convalescent Home for Children, Bognor.
