W.A.V.C. PRESENTATION
MISS J. SIMCOCK HONOURED At the weekly parade of the Hamilton Women’s Auxiliary Volunteer Corp in the Bledisloe Hall on Monday evening Mrs H. C. Ross, commanding officer of the company, made a presentation to Miss J. Simcock, who is among the girls chosen to go overseas with the Women’s War Service Auxiliary (Overseas Hospital Division). In congratulating Miss Simcock on her selection Mrs Ross spoke of the excellent work that had been done by her in the company, and especially in the field ambulance section, in which Miss Simcock holds the rank of corporal, and wished her every success in the work. Miss Simcock. who is the second member of the Auxiliary to be chosen for overseas service, suitably replied.
