Tel. copyright) (Received Dec. 9, 3.15 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 8 General Percival told the Legislative Council at Singapore that the Japanese are believed to be in possession of southern Thailand. An official statement from Bangkok says that Thai resistance ceased temporarily at 7.30 a.m. and negotiations are proceeding.
The German radio declared that Japanese troops have begun peaceful entry into Bangkok, also at many important points in the eastern and southern areas, in accordance with the Japan-Thailand agreement.
