PLEDGE TO AMERICA
ASSISTANCE OF REPUBLICS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Dec. 9, 1 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 8 Haiti has declared war against Japan and has pledged full assistance to the United States. Honduras has also declared war against Japan. Martial law has been established throughout the republic. President Übrico has sent a message to Mr Roosevelt pledging Guatemala's solidarity with the United States against Japan.
