GLARE OF LIGHTING
REGULATIONS DISREGARDED (By Telegraph.—Press Association) WELLINGTON, Friday Trenchant criticism of the glare from lights at Titahi Bay and adjacent areas was contained in a letter to the Makara County Council from the local lighting controller, who commented that Titahi appeared a veritable lighthouse, and for a coastal settlement was a flagrant example of disregard for the regulations. He intimated that blinds were up all round the hills in that direction from Wellington. The letter was referred to the respective wardens for report.
