RESIDENCE IN CHRISTCHURCH (By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, Friday The Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, with Lady Newall and their children, will probably take up residence in Christchurch next month and remain here till the end of December. A swimming pool and beautifully laid-oyt gardens, heavily wooded in parts, distinguish the property, which is bordered by the Waimairiri Stream. It will be the first time the Governor-General has been in official residence in the city lor in tne south.
