RENOWN MATCH CANCELLED Soccer enthusiasts In Hamilton received a disappointment on Saturday when the match arranged between Claudelands Rovers and Renown was cancelled owing to the non-appearance of the visiting tnde. As Wanderers was drawn to play Glen Massey in a match away from Hamilton, and as in the junior grade its team had a bye, no ofllcial game was played at Seddon Park. A scratch match, however, arranged between the Rovers’ team and ■some of the junior players revealed promising talent, which should be seen to good advantage during the coming weeks. Hood, Keen and Jackson, in particular, of the younger players, showed an eagerness and initiative which more than oirset their initial disadvantage in weight, and experience. WIN FOR WANDERERS At Glen Massey on Saturday, Wanderers defeated the home team by -2 goals to 1.
