BOWLS AT WHITIORA To mark the close of a very successful season, the Whitiora Bowling Club held a club tournament on Saturday afternoon, in which seventeen teams of three players each participated. The winners were W. J. Riddell, W. Cooper and E. J. Watkins, (s). Three teams tied with three wins each. They were skipped by Wycherley, Watkins and Woodhall, and Woodhall secured the bye in the play-off. Watkins defeated Wycherley and then beat Woodhall.
