HAMILTON’S OPENING AN AUSPICIOUS START GAMES AT HEADQUARTERS The Rugby season for 1941, in Hamilton, officially commenced on Saturday, when the first games for the Stag Trophy Competition were played at Rugby Park. The weather conditions prevailing were dull, but fine. The playing areas were in fair order. Results:— Seniors Technical 0.8. 21, Frankton 13. Old Boys 3, City 0. Taupiri 49, Raglan 6. Juniors Railway 14. City 6; Marist 8, Old Boys 0; High School 16, Eastern Suburbs 3. Third Grade Old Boys 38, Technical Old Boys 0. Fourth Grade Technical Old Boys 32 v. City 0; Old Boys 41 v Marist 0.
