All we need is for the world to give us machines.” This statement was made by the Australian Prime Minister, Mr Menzies, in Ottawa. Speaking of the spirit of the people of Britain, he said: “These people are not going to ask for peace; they are going to fight for peace.” Mr Menzies addressed the House of Commons and received an enthusiastic welcome. A special seat was provided for him on the floor of the House.
