CHARGES FAIL
TIMBER WORKER ACQUITTED The jury returned a verdict of not guilty in the Supreme Court, Hamilton, yesterday in the case in which John Charles Clifton, aged 54, timber worker, of Tongariro, was charged with unlawful carnal knowledge and incest. Mr Justice Johnston was on the Bench. The case for the Crown was conducted by Mr H. T. Gillies and accused was represented by Mr W. J. King.
