EXPORTS TO RUSSIA
STOPPED BY AMERICA MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) WASHINGTON, May 6 It is learned from an authoritative source that the United States has halted all exports to Russia of machinery and equipment useful in defence production. This policy has been adopted in spite of strenuous diplomatic efforts bv the Soviet to obtain export permits.
