TAURANGA SEAT MR BURNETT’S INTENTION (By Telegraph.—Press Association) TAURANGA, Wednesday ‘lt is the intention of Mr C. H. Burnett to contest the Tauranga seat at the next general election as an Independent candidate, and not, as was reported from Rotorua, the Bay of Plenty seat, for which Lieutenant A. G. Hultquist is the member. Mr Burnett was the sitting Labour member for Tauranga when defeated by Mr F. W. Doidge in 1938.
