INCREASE IN WAGES
ORDER IN WEST AUSTRALIA ARBITRATION COURT DECISION (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 27, 3.15 p.m.) PERTH, Feb. 27 Increases in the Western Australian basic wage have been ordered by the State Arbitration Court. In the Metropolitan area the basic wage will be increased by Is 7d to £4 6s lid a week, in the south-west by Is 2d to £4 7s Bd, and in the goldfields by Is lOd to £5 2s Id.
