MATANGI RED CROSS
The Matangi branch of the Red Cross Society held an enjoyable function in the Matangi public hall recently. It took the form of a bring-and-buy afternoon and good business was done at the various stalls. An amusing reading given by Mrs H. Whewell and Mrs G. Russell was much enjoyed. Competitions were won by Mesdames A. Jamieson, Scott and H. Annett.
