LEAKAGE OF PLANS
RESIGNATION DEMANDED “DIPLOMATIC COLD” FREEDOM FROM VISITORS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 26, 11 a.m.) TOKIO, Feb. 25 General Koyama has demanded the resignation of Mr Kobayashi, asserting that he was responsible for the j leakage of Cabinet plans for a new economic structure. Mr Kobayashi was a member of , the Japanese delegation which went to the Dutch East Indies recently seeking trade concessions. He is a big industrialist. He was also accused of evading tax payments. This coincides with a move to force the appointment of a temporary acting-Premier to replace Prince Konoye, who has been ill with a “diplomatic cold” since February 9, which does not prevent him from seeing political visitors but deprives the House of his presence to answer questions.
