MATAMATA FAREWELL

Miss Mary Dinsdale was the guest-of-honour at a farewell evening held in Mr Selwyn Duxfield’s barn, Station Road, Matamata, before her departure for Papakura, where she has taken up a position. During the evening Mr Duxfield, on behalf of those present, wished Miss Dinsdale every success in her new sphere, and asked her to accept, as a token of the esteem in which she was held, a handsome leather hat box. Miss Dinsdale suitably replied. Among those present were:—Mesdames Russell White, J. Malligan, Junr., G. Goodwin. Misses Thelma Chilton, Betty Tims, Madge Harray, Twinkie Hunt, Hilda Chilton, Elaine Harray, Oiga Loveridge.
