MILITARY MODEL

ANTI-TANK GUN WORK OF COLLEGE BOYS (By Teleeraph.—special to Tlmeb) WELLINGTON, Tuesday Senior pupils of the Wellington Technical College have just completed a full-scale working model of an infantry anti-tank gun for the anti-tank companies. Working drawings were made by the chief instructor at the Technical College from photographs and drawings in the possession of the military authorities, and the actual work of machining the various parts and building the gun was carried out by the instructors and senior pupils. The model can do everything the actual gun can do except fire live ammunition. All moving parts of the anti-tank gun have been exactly copied and the model may be taken apart and re-assembled. The loading mechanism works perfectly and the gun may be loaded either by hand or automatically. The Army authorities state that the model will be of the greatest assistance in anti-tank training.
