WALTON PATRIOTIC DAY .(Special to Times) WALTON, Monday. The sum or £lB was raised on the Walton goir links on Saturday and was handed over for purchasing girts for the men of the Forces. The main competition was a medal round, which was won by J. Dickey. All other competitors were flflned 6d for each stroke worse than the winner’s score, and this netted £1 10s (Hi. A flflne ol‘ is was charged Tor every player who failed to drive ever the rise or No. 7 green, and is a card was declared the penalty for the women’s medal round, which was won by .Mrs Lamb.
