FIGHTER FOR BRITAIN FUND IN HAMILTON £940 ALREADY TO HAND Since yesterday over £IOO has been received for the fund opened by the Mayor of Hamilton, Mr H. D. Caro, for the provision of a fighter aeroplane for Great Britain. The total to date exceeds £940. Donations are being received by the Town Clerk and at the Waikato Times office. DAIRY COMPANY’S FUND HALF SUBSCRIBED ALREADY The suppliers to the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company Limited have already subscribed over half of the £6OOO to £7OOO required for the provision of a fighter aeroplane for the Royal Air Force. Many of the subscription lists have not yet been returned and it is anticipated that the full amount will be subscribed next week.
