Among those to please were Glen Connell, Grandora, Mazlr, Gamos, Tekawitl and Maxarn. Valamito was two lengths in Tront of Venture at the end of six furlongs in 1.23, both giving the Impression they could have done a little better. Glen Connell was responsible for the best five furlongs when he covered the distance In 1.5. Grandora ran the same distance In 1.5 3-5, upon which he could have Improved. Mazlr surprised by defeating Gay Miss over five furlongs, finishing two lengths In Tront In 1.5 2-5, after running the first two in 255. Garnos was going better than Tekawitl at the end or half a mile In 52 1-ss. Heneltl was three lengths in front of I.ady Pay at the half mile in 53 1-6 s. Surella finished fully a dozen length* In front or Flood Tide over seven furlongs In 1.43 1-5, arter running the first halfmile In 52 1 -ss. Flood Tide finished with his tongue over the bit.
