DUTCH EAST INDIES

PREPARATIONS FOR ATTACK MENACE OF JAPANESE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received. August 16, 3.15 p.m.) BANDOEING, August 15 The Netherlands East Indies defences have been strengthened substantially and preparations completed for installations and oil stocks in the event of a Japanese attack.
