FRANKTON QUOTATIONS The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company Ltd., Hamilton, reports a-s follows on its Frankton stock sale held on Tuesday: There was a good yarding of all classes or Tat and store cattle, which sold at prices slightly in advance or last week’s quotations berore a keen bench or buyers. We quote: Prime Tat bullocks, £ll 6s to £l4; heavy prime fat cows and heirers, £io 7s to £ll 1s; medium Tat cows and heifers, £8 15S to £0 183; lighter. £6 6s to £7 10S; heavy boner cows, £3 15s to £4 18s; lighter, £3 to £3 14s; runners, £4 12s to £ l 15s; vealers, £2 is to £2 10s. Sheep: There was a small yarding all over but prices remained firm and a total clearance was effected. We quote: Medium heavy wethers, 32s Cd to 355; light. 29s to 3is Cd: heavy rat ewes. 28s to 3is fid; medium. 24s to 2fis fid; light, 18s to 22s fid; medium heavy rat lambs, 2is fid to 2 is 3d; light. 18s to £l. Pigs: There was a small yarding or pigs but prices were up to the recent quotations. Medium heavy baroners, £3 18s to £4; light. £3 12s to £3 15s; prime heavy porkers, £3 5s to £3 10*; medium, £2 ISs to £3; light. £2 10s to £2 15s. Store pigs: Slips, a 17s to £2 4s; good stores, 35s to 38s; medium, 30s to 320 6d; weaners, 25s fid to 275.
