LADY GALWAY GUILD
BRANCH FORMED AT KAWHIA A branch of the Lady Galway Guild has been formed i'n Kawhia. Mrs W. W. Davies was elected president and Mrs D. S Morris secretary, and an energetic committee was formed. In a few weeks a large amount of work has been carried out. Members have been busy collecting, sewing, sorting and renovating garments which have been sent in. The pupils of the local schools have been busy sewing and knitting. A large box containing over 240 garments has been forwarded to Central Depot. Parcels are received at the Patriotic League Rooms every Thursday and packed every third Thursday of each month.
