CAMBRIDGE EXECUTIVE STATEMENT OF FINANCES (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Monday At a meeting of the executive of the Cambridge Patriotic Committee, the chairman, Mr Edgar James, presiding, it was stated that the financial position was very satisfactory, there being a credit of £34 9s lOd. Included in the expenditure was £126 4s 2d for 150 wallets. Among the details of receipts and expenditure mentioned was the gift parcels account. It said that the one item of receipts was the Paddy’s Market and sundries, totalling £ll7 3s 4d. The expenditure was £27 14s Bd, for materials purchased, leaving a credit balance of £B9 8s Bd. An alteration in the constitution of the executive was announced in a circular from Hamilton. It was stated that Cambridge would be an inter-zone area of the Waikato zone, A distress and habilitation committee, including representatives of the Returned Soldiers’ Association, was asked for and Messrs R. Newcombe, J. W. Jeans, Edgar James and Frank T. Ray were appointed. Mesdames H. L. Nixon, W. Munroe and J. W. Garland were added to the executive.
