IMPROVED FINANCES

CAMBRIDGE PRESBYTERIANS (Special to Times) CAMBRIDGE, Monday The report of Trinity Presbyterian Church to be presented at the annual meeting of the church this week discloses an improved financial posi-r tion. The general account shows a considerable improvement. During the year subscriptions to the sustentation fund increased from £72 to £l2O. The board commends the sustentation and envelope funds. Special thanks are extended to the Ladies’ Guild for its assistance in providing funds for the upkeep of the church property. Total receipts for missions amounted to £237, the highest figure for several years. During the second year of the Centenary Fund campaign, there was a gratifying response. In addition to those who had already given promises for the three-year period, 41 new subscribers participated, and the amount received for the year was £251 10s 6d. The reports include one on the condition of the Peace Memorial Hall. This states that after thorough investigation it was found necessary to remove the tiled roof and replace it with iron. With the approval of the assembly committee the cost of this work will be met out of the contributions to the Centenary Fund.
