Accident in Garage
A broken leg was received by Mr William Percival, garage proprietor, of Ohaupo Road, as the result of an accident at his garage this morning. He was removed to the Waikato Hospital in a St. John Ambulance. “Danger is a test of friendship,” said Mr Duff Cooper, Minister of Information, in a recent speech, "and Britain is in fearful danger today. Danger is also a testing time of courage and as we meet the worst news we shall hear today, so our. courage will rise to a higher tempo, and our spirits will emerge with greater audacity and greater determination to meet whatever is threatened, whatever menace may hang over us, with a grim and determined confidence as a nation of free people who hav-> , never been defeated in their history.”
