DENIAL BY JAPAN
BASE IN INDO-CHINA NO NEGOTIATIONS (United Press Assn. —Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received August 6, 3.15 p.m.) TOKIO, August 5 The Foreign Office denied that Japan is conducting negotiations concerning alleged Japanese demands for a naval base in Indo-China. The Army also denied knowledge of such demands.
