ON KENYA FRONT
ITALIAN POST CAPTURED COUNTER-ATTACK REPULSED (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Aug. 6, 1 p.m.) LONDON, Aug. 5 A Cairo communique states: An Italian post at Todenyand, on the northern extremity of Lake Rudolph, was captured by a small force of the King’s African Rifles. This action occurred on the afternoon of August 2 near Tirkana, on the Kenya front. The enemy attempted a counterattack, which was repulsed, the enemy leaving behind 37 dead and many wounded. There is nothing to report on other fronts.
