TAUPIRI RED CROSS
The Taupiri branch of the Red Cross Society held a successful card afternoon, recently, in the Red Cross rooms. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs R. Taylor and Mrs H. Riddell.
Those present were:—Mesdames H. Riddell, R. Taylor, Bailey (Auckland), S. Grant, Sowerby, N. Richards, F. Wilson, senr., A. L. Button, A. Garry, D. Welch, O. Brooks, F. J. Farrell, G. Herwood, Tremlett, Burke. Misses E. Brooks and J. Henry.
