Mr A. E. Gibbons, President of the Waikato Centre of the Red Cross Society, left for Wellington last night to attend the annual meeting of the New Zealand Red Cross Council.
Mr D. M. Rae, principal of the Teachers’ Training College, has been elected to the council of Auckland University College as representative ol members of the General Assembly resident in the Auckland provincial district.
