FRANKTON RAILWAY CLUB ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING The annual general meeting of the Frankton Railway Football Club was held recently. The chairman congratulated members on their various successes during the last playing season and also remarked that the club was one of the most financial in the South Auckland district. Improvements during last season were hot and cold showers, which were supplied by a modern chip heater boiler, extension to the shed, and four extra electric lights. He expressed the club’s appreciation of those who had made donations to the club during the year. Prospects for the coming season were good. During the meeting a presentation was made to the secretary, Mr A. Jerrom. The chairman said that the trip to the South Island to play the North versus South match had not been lost sight of and every endeavour would be made to have this match in the near future. Election of Officers Officers were elected as follows: Patron, Mr E. Casey; president, Mr G. Rundle; chairman, Mr H. Borland; vice-chairman, Mr B. Morris; secretry, Mr A. Jerrom; vice-presidents, Messrs R. Crozier, Nicholls, Beasley, T. Everest, C. Vernell, T. Gawn, L. Moody, C. Elliott, Muir, McDell, L. Faby, Williams, Branton; club captain, Mr P. McDowell; delegates to sports club, Messrs Borland and Morris; delegate to Junior Advisory Board, Mr Bricknell; delegates to Hamilton Rugby Union, Messrs Bricknell, Bremner and Borland; general committee, Messrs Thomson, Sotherley, Roberts, Murphy, Hannam, Henry, Bricknell, Coyle, R. Jerrom, Bremner, Pickerell, Morris, McDowell and Morton; finance committee, Messrs Coyle, McDowell, and Jerrom; coach and selector, Mr C. Satherley; auditors, Messrs Coyle and Bremner.
