NEW SECRETARY
NATIONAL SECURITY (By Telegraph.— Press Association) WELLINGTON. Friday The appointment of Mr Foss Shanahan. LL.M., as secretary to the Organisation of National Security was announced today. He succeeds Lieutenant-Colonel W. G. Stevens, who has joined the Second New Zealand Expeditionary Force overseas. Mr Shanahan was transferred from the head office of the Customs Department to the Organisation of National Security in September, 1938. and shortly after he was appointed assistant secretary.
