BANKRUPTS CHARGED
EXAMINATION AND ARREST (By Telegraph.—Press Association) INVERCARGILL, Friday The public examination of the Cody brothers, Luke, John, Lawrence and Michael, farmers, made bankrupt last year, was held in the Supreme Court to-day. The examination of Lawrence and Michael Cody was completed, and the public examinations adjourned until Friday. Soon after the adjournment the bankrupts were arrested and charged in the Magistrate’s Court with breaches of the Bankruptcy Act. They were remanded on substantial bail until Thursday.
