ALLEGED OFFENCES
TWO MEN REMANDED James Edward Conrad, aged 19, labourer, of no fixed abode, appeared before Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, yesterday afternoon, charged with obtaining credit by fraud. On the application of Detective J. White a remand until February 22 was granted. It was stated that further charges were pending. Arrested on a warrant from Whangarei, Hugh Champion appeared in court charged with the theft of an electric kettle valued at 255. He was remanded to appear at Whangarei on February 22. Bail, self £25 and two sureties of £25 each, was allowed. _____
