CANADA’S WAR LOAN
OVER 178,000 SUBSCRIBERS A HAPPY AUGURY (United Press Assn.—dec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 16, 3.15 p.m.) OTTAWA, Feb. 15 The Dominion Minister of Finance, Colonel Ralston, stated that there were more than 178,000 subscribers to the war loan. He added that it was a happy augury of Canada’s wartime financing that almost 66 per cent of the 250,000,000 dollar total had been privately subscribed, 121,000 of the subscriptions being under 500 dollars.
