A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT PROTECTING BRITISH FORCE CO-OPERATION WITH ARMY (Omclal wireless* (Received Feb. 16, 11 a.m.) RUGBY, Feb. 15 The air headquarters at the Army General Headquarters, which controls the activities of the Royal Air Force squadrons working in cooperation with the Army, has been visited by Air Marshal Barratt. The first task of these squadrons in the war was to protect the British Expeditionary Force and its transport, supplies and provisions. Throughout the period of the disembarkation of the force and its subsequent move to the front the British fighter aircraft maintained so vigilant a watch that not one enemy aircraft succeeded in crossing the British positions and lines of communications while the Army was moving up. This ceaseless watch goes on as reinforcements continue to land in France. As a result of the work of these reconnaissance aircraft the Army General Headquarters knows the location of all enemy strongholds on the immediate front. They also know the lines and directions from which German attacks may be expected and are in a position to decide the best way in which these can be met.

BRITISH PURSUIT OPPOSED WITHIN NEUTRALITY ZONE (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel.
