NAZI REPRISALS
BRITISH MERCHANTMEN REGARDED AS WARSHIPS (United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright) (Received Feb. 16, 11.35 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 15 The German radio announced that Germany in future will consider all British merchantmen as warships and treat them accordingly. This reprisal follows Mr Winston Churchill’s announcement that British vessels trading In the North Sea are to be protected with guns. Many Seamen Missing The Admiralty announces 31 casualties as a result of the loss of His Majesty’s trawlers Robert Bowen and Fort Royal on February 9. The list comprises one officer killed and three missing presumed killed and 17 ratings missing and presumed killed.
